Artistic Process

Hand presses pencil to paper, dark then light, emphasis develops, the mind connects. Art emerges.

Tiles are not just tiles, and a window is not just a window. No piece is too small to get loving attention; they’re parts of an intricate composition of function and beauty, just waiting to happen.

Down to the Details

Japanese tiles weave through concrete panels. Yin/Yang, big/small, dark/light…harmony.

Buildings must start with their location. Whether in the middle of a vineyard with mountain views or nestled in the city, our psyches need our buildings to connect us with the greater order of Nature.
